As we're sure you know by now, we failed to regain a foothold in Moss Bank yesterday. But please be aware that your local Labour team will not give in to despondency or defeatism, and that our good work in the community carries on, more effective and with greater determination than before.
So thank you for your support and your votes. And as Gordon Brown has said, have confidence in our principles. Have confidence that these principles can be advanced in Labour policies for our time. Have confidence that Labour values are the values of the British people.
Once again, thank you for your support over the last 12 months, and we hope we are deserving of your support over the next 12 months.

just a note I hope you will take on board.Don't be so centred on the Clinkham Wood estate and get out into Haresfinch and Laffak, it's the only way to shift the LDs from Moss Bank ward.I've lived in Laffak for 20 years and in that time Labour has nearly always fallen into the trap of posting publications through my door that focus at least 90% on the Clinkham Wood estate.It's political suicide in the wider ward.
You certainly shouldn't give up.Despite the poll ratings of the Labour government it is obvious that there is a sizeable number of people in Moss Bank Ward who simply cannot stomach the LDs.While the Labour vote has fallen away in some LD held seats the Labour vote in Moss Bank has held up very well in recent years.The day will come when the Lib Dems will no longer have someone else to blame for their own inaction (and actions in the council chamber) and the voters will see them for what they really are.Now they are actually reponsible the 'easy' votes they have previously relied on will dry up.It's happening year on year in Liverpool, it'll happen in St Helens too.

the lib dems have made the entire ward a better place to be and we dont need liers like you trying to ruin it.
Keep up the good work.I suspect the next couple of years we'll really get to see what the lds are all about in terms of cuts to services and incompetence in the council chamber.You only need look at the executive members to see they couldn't run a car boot stall properly.good luck..
